Premium domain questions
What makes a domain “premium”?
A premium name is already the perfect fit for a business — short, one word, easy to say on the phone, matched to a real product or category. Only one person can own it, so it carries a one-time price above standard registration. After purchase it renews at the normal yearly rate.
How does payment and transfer work?
You place an offer or pay the listed price. PK Domain holds the funds, moves the domain into your account, confirms you have full control, and only then releases payment to the seller. For .pk names the transfer is handled directly with PKNIC by our team.
What are the fees?
Buyers pay a 5% fee on top of the agreed price, added at completion. Sellers pay a 30% commission, taken from the proceeds and only when the name sells. Both are shown before you commit. Listing is free.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Names above Rs.150,000 can be split over 3, 6 or 12 months. The domain stays in a holding account under our control and moves to you once the final payment clears — you can point it at your site from day one.
Why do I need to verify my identity?
Premium transfers move real money and a real asset. Before an account goes active we confirm your email, check your phone number, and verify that the name you give matches your CNIC, plus a valid address. Your details are used only for the transaction and are never shown publicly.
Is the listed price final?
Listed prices are a guide. On most names you can make a lower offer and our team will put it to the owner. Names marked Buy now are fixed price and transfer the same day.
